African Diaspora Marketplace Competition (ADM II) & Cartier  Women's Initiative Awards
In February 2012, CDS in association with partners entered into an African Diaspora Marketplace (ADM II) Business Plan Competition in the United States.

Out of 495 entries; CDS was blessed to have been one of the 17 winners.

The winning proposal: “Renewable Energy through the Vehicle of Affordable Housing: The Affordable Passive House Prototype”.

In 2015, Chinwe Ohajuruka was again blessed to have become the Sub-Saharan African Laureate of the Cartier Women's Initiative Awards. She was privileged to have become one of 19 Laureates out of approximately 1800 applications!
