Chinwe Ohajuruka

CEO, Architect, Project Manager & Sustainability Consultant

Team Leader: Chinwe is a US-based architect, who travels frequently between the US & Nigeria seeking business opportunities in sustainable development. She is also a sustainability consultant with over 25 years of work experience and professional accreditation in Nigeria, USA & the UK. She worked for 15 years in Nigeria prior to moving to the US in 2003. She will be responsible for design direction, quality control, training and outreach.

Dr. Louis Gyoh 

B. Sc., PG Dip Arch. M. Arch. M.Sc. M.St., PhD., MNIA

Architect, Renewable Energy Expert & Professor

Louis is a renewable energy/sustainable development expert with 15 years' experience, who has built 75 units of affordable housing of stabilized earth building  construction and installed 147 solar powered boreholes.  He will be responsible for the renewable energy technologies on the project.

Nkemdilim Enumah 

B.Sc. (Building), PMP (Project Management Professional)

Office and Project Manager

Nkemdilim Enumah is a builder and project manager who will oversee the construction activities on site and sale of PHP packages. She will also serve as the office manager and will run the day to day operations.  

Wale Okubadejo

B.Sc., M.Sc. (Architecture), MNIA

Architect & Developer

Wale Okubadejo and Chinwe Ohajuruka have worked in partnership for over 20 years on various small and large-scale projects across Nigeria. He will provide much needed support and collaboration in replicating the PHP developments across Nigeria and ultimately, Africa and the world.

Omie Ben-Kalio

B.SC. Elect. Eng., NSE, COREN

General Manager& Electrical Instrument Engineer

Mr. Ben-Kalio, a registered engineer with over 21 years' experience in the Nigerian oil and gas industry is based in Port Harcourt and will oversee the engineering design and operations. He is experienced in renewable energy sources especially solar and bio-gas.

Gloria Ene

BSc., MSc., PGDE, FNIQS

Quantity Surveyor and Cost Consultant

Ms. Ene is a Nigeria-based quantity surveyor with 29 years' experience, who will provide cost advice, research and analysis where required and prepare bills of quantities, specifications, schedules of materials and rates for the PHP Package. She will also maintain an online database of prices of materials related to the PHPs.  

Michael Ukpeh

B.Sc., M.Sc. (Architecture), NIA

Architect & Local Consultant
Michael is a Port-Harcourt-based architect, developer and project manager with over 26 years working experience in the Port Harcourt, Nigeria construction industry. Michael is extremely knowledgeable in the local construction practices, local and locally available materials, and local prices, and is keenly committed to sustainable construction practices. He will collaboratively manage the procurement of the pilot PHPs and the scale-up of PHPs into estates.

Nnezi Uduma-Olugu

M.Sc. (Architecture), MLA (Landscape Architecture), NIA, MSLAN, (Society Of Landscape Architects of Nigeria)

Landscape Architect
Nnezi is an experienced and award-winning landscape architect with 19 years of work experience in the Nigerian built environment. She will be responsible for guiding the pilot and subsequently masterplanning projects into ecologically responsive landscapes, with her vast knowledge and experience in Nigerian plants, landscapes and ecology.
